DIP INTO DUKKAH
A super easy to make and store Dukkah for when guests pop in or to sprinkle on your eggs, or in a salad, or anything else that takes your fancy. But probably not ice cream.
120g Hazelnuts with no skin whizzed up in the food processor
100g Sesame Seeds
1 tsp Ground Cumin
1 tsp Ground Coriander
1 tsp Fresh Thyme, chopped
2 tsp Sumac
2 tsp Salt
.5 tsp Freshly Ground Pepper
Lightly toast sesame seeds in a dry frypan. Whilst the pan is still hot add the other ingredients and swoosh around. When cool, pop into a clean jar ready to use.
Dudes gobble this up with freshly cut bread dipped in olive oil with a twist of lemon zest then dipped into the Dukkah.
Spread some danish feta and dukkah on a pizza base. Bake in a hot oven until base is cooked. Add some torn rocket and chopped spring onion. I can’t express how happy this combo makes my mouth feel.
