WHERE I DO WHAT I DO WHEN I’M DOING WHAT I DO
What a crack-a-lacking way to spend a day.
I spent it pottering about outside, and thought I would show you where the flowers for wedding cakes, the quince paste for your cheese platters, the pomegranates for your slow cooked lamb, the curry leaves for your korma and the mint for your tzatziki are all grown.
An old Iranian language had a noun pairidaza meaning, “a wall enclosing a garden or orchard”. I created a paradise, to sow the seed of creativity, tend to ideas sprouted and nourish tried and tested successes, that I can view from my kitchen window. My paradise is home to my catering business, a hub for my friendships, an hearth for my children and a place that celebrates my pleasures and joys in life. This is how it started, and this what it looked like today.
