a little tip

There are bunch-loads of these tasty spears about at the moment. Here’s a tip (pardon the pun) for keeping them super green…

Bring a big pot of water to the boil.
Add a pinch of Bi-Carb Soda.
Throw in your asparagus.
Bring back to the boil.

Take of the boil.
Drain and Serve with salt and a squeeze of lemon (and Parmesan for extra lush)

Eat as many as you can before the season is over. Even if it makes your wee smell weird.
